Community Health Worker

Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department, in partnership with Northeast Community College, has developed a curriculum for a Community Health Worker Generalist and has put in place a program that shows how Community Health Workers can improve the health and wellbeing of the people who live in our communities. The course is designed to teach the skills necessary for Community Health Workers in a public health organization, health care facility, schools, churches, businesses, or other health-related or human services agencies.
